The Productive Collective: February 2013
http://productivecollective.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 10, 2013. Alex and I braved the beginning of Winter Storm Nemo to deliver the 90 gallon fish tank and all of our locally sourced items to Codman Academy on Friday. While we were there, Lisa showed us the announcement and student interest board - looks like we have a lot of folks ready to learn about aquaponics! Posted by Kyle Sturgeon. The PC design's the Codman System. Here's a diagram of the system we're building with the Codman Academy next weekend! Posted by Kyle Sturgeon.

The Productive Collective: May 2013
http://productivecollective.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 28, 2013. The tilapia seem quite happy - the largest is now over 4" and they have started taking our largest feed. Lisa harvested much of the lettuce for students' salads and plans to use this basil for a pesto tomorrow! Do you see the two cucumbers forming at the base of the flowers? Todays test shows that pH, Ammonia, and Nitrite are all in the right place. The Nitrate is low because the fish weren't fed over the weekend. Posted by Kyle Sturgeon. Sunday, May 5, 2013. Thursday, May 2, 2013. GYOStuff Garden Learning Center. Our friends at GYO have created a number of resources for those of us growing plants from seed, using hydroponics, or other means. Check out their resources and classes here: http:/ www.gyostuff.com/Learning Center.html. Particularly useful to us has been the visual inspection nutrient deficiency chart, included in this post or via this link: http:/ www.gyostuff.com/Nutrient Deficiencies.html#How to treat nutrient deficiencies.
