What’s it all about? Lazza's coffee breaks. A review of coffee shops in Melbourne, Sydney (and where ever I may be). So what’s so great about drinking coffee in Australia? 1 It costs roughly the same price where ever you go (this point probably applies to most places in the world) – whether you’re drinking it at the Hilton or in a cafe in Chinatown, I have yet to have a coffee that cost more than $4.50. Served by a guy dressed up straight out of the British colonial era). Please, keep up the great work.

Larry and Larna's BEEG Adventure: A vote for Mexico City (and lots of photos too)
http://beegadventure.blogspot.com/2011/01/vote-for-mexico-city-and-lots-of-photos.html
Friday, January 14, 2011. A vote for Mexico City (and lots of photos too). The lady on the right is making fresh tacos in a great little Mexican diner where we ate a huge ¨comida corrida¨(meal of the day) for about 40 pesos on Thursday. Lunch is a big thing over here, dinner more for tourists and you really score if you find one of these fine establishments. We could hardly walk after we finished eating. Below Mexico City in pictures:. January 18, 2011 at 11:46 AM. Looks (and sounds) amazing! Into the he...

Thursday, August 26, 2010. Five visas, one departure date. The visas are in the bag! It's taken just under four weeks to get five visas and one new passport, but we are finally set for part 2 of the 'Beeg adventure'. And we have a departure date - 5 September - and most of our itinerary. For family and friends (or random blog-reading wierdos) following our trip this is our confirmed itinerary so far:. 5 Sept: Joburg to Casablanca (via Abhu Dhabi). 1 Oct: Casablanca to Cairo. 12 Nov: New Delhi to Istanbul.
Larry and Larna's BEEG Adventure: The ghoulish and the grand
http://beegadventure.blogspot.com/2011/01/ghoulish-and-grand.html
Tuesday, January 18, 2011. The ghoulish and the grand. As I wrote yesterday we are now in the beautiful town of Guanajuato, a former mining town that has lost none of its grandeur, oozing charm out of every cobbled street and colourful square. It´s packed with museums, but being a Monday, most were shut except for the ¨Museo de las Momias¨ (Museum of the Mummies) where this guy has a home. January 18, 2011 at 11:50 AM. Walking with Uncle Larry and Auntie Larna. Cafe in Marais district. Million dollar views and lots of cheese. Friday, April 30, 2010. Nearly on our way to Germany. Just a quick post from Changi airport. We have our boarding passes and should be on our way to Frankfurt in two hours time. From the heat and humidity, spicey cuisine, cheerful smiles, chaos (at times), colours (especially Thailand), from being jostled from place to place, from the beaches and palm trees and the street hawkers and the night markets to.very old buildings, culture, art, bratwurst, beer and cooler climes! Farewell Asia, for now! I'm writ...
Larry and Larna's BEEG Adventure: November 2010
http://beegadventure.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 29, 2010. Riding the camel's koc. We arrived back in Istanbul yesterday morning after an exhausting 15 hour bus ride from the coast. Our bus company was called "Kamil Koc" which in Turkish would read as "camel coach" but I kept on laughing at the thought that we were riding the "camel cock". So we have a tiring day and a half of travelling ahead of us starting with a 5.45am flight to Frankfurt tomorrow morning followed by a 10 hour fligh to Caracas a few hours later. Fun, fun, fun. Climb...

Friday, January 28, 2011. A racoon, two deer and a Coyote. Well, we're back from two days and two nights in Yosemite National Park. It's a legendary place and for good reason as its simply spectacular. It took us four hours to drive from San Francisco passing through countryside reminiscint of England - rolling green hills, cows in the meadow etc - before the hills became snowy mountains and the mountains the mighty Sierra Nevada range. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. A special tour of San Francisco Bay.
Larry and Larna's BEEG Adventure: December 2010
http://beegadventure.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2010. Very cheap, almost free.". These were the cajoling words of one of the many souvenir vendors as we wandered around the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Chitzen Itza today. We all cracked up laughing when we heard this line. Mexicans have a way of speaking in that lazy drawl that makes it hard not to smile and feel good about life. Among the things we did spot were these grizly skulls that lined the bottom of a platform where the severed heads of those sacrificed were put on...
Larry and Larna's BEEG Adventure: October 2010
http://beegadventure.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 29, 2010. In the city of lakes and temples. We had lunch on a rooftop overlooking the lake and palaces. They call it the Venice of the East and from where we sat it seemed an accurate description. On the way back to our hotel for an afternoon nap, we walked up a little windy road. Kids in India love saying hello and being a bit cheeky with foreigners. Then followed the following exchange with a little girl from a window overlooking the street:. Larna and I: Hello. Tuesday, October 26, 2010.
