Coffee.on the RUN! When you tie your shoes for a long run, double knot them, but then tuck the loops into the laces on the top of your foot. I have yet to have ever have them come out, and as a result I have never had to stop and re-tie a shoe. It may look weird, but it works. Best training rule of thumb-Add 10% of your weekly mileage to build your cumulative distance each week.and no more. Foam Roller on the cheap:. I have done this.I affectionately call my foam roller "El Diablo". Run Less Run Faster.

I know my throngs of adoring fans have probably been waiting on pins and needles just to hear how the Francis Marion Dirt Dash Trail Half Marathon. So it is Saturday morning, exactly one week after the half, and here I am.writing it (again). I'm not one for breaking cliches so I guess I'll do it too. My goals for 2011 were simple. I wanted to 1) Run injury free, 2) PR all distances and 3) Run the Marine Corps Marathon.
