It was wild crazy busy, but tons of fun. It was a perfect day to be at the zoo with awesome fall weather. We managed to convince Alex to wear her Star Wars costume (she's Padme) and mommy and daddy put on their Jedi costumes too.so it was a family theme :). Buddy got his hands on a marker and decided to "decorate" one of our family pictures. Naughty Elf! A Game of Scrabble. Buddy invited Optimus Prime and T-Rex down for a game. Note that they only used "holiday-approved" words. Hungry for some Fudge. Guess Buddy has a sweet tooth! But what a mess he made with the chocolate chips. Buddy sure is resourceful!

Thursday, July 5, 2012. Well, my grand plan of a picture every day chronicling our summer activities fell by the wayside (of course) as we got busier actually DOING those activities. :). But not to worry, we've been taking good care of ourselves, getting haircuts (above) and even pedicures! We celebrated the Summer Solstice on June 21 with half-price milkshakes at Sonic. Yum! Jacks had snorkeling on his summer bucket list, so we gave that a try. We got some new water bottles to keep hydrated in the heat.
