Joy of Knitting 織哉. Knitty is my asylum. Thursday, December 24, 2009. This is what my first spinning teacher told us after 3 hours of learning how to spin on a spindle - made your first spinning project into something, so you 'll remember it! And this is what I had done. Well, not a recent project, consider that I had taken my first spinning class like a year ago. But I finally made it into something. =). Posted by Joy 覺馨. A knitting blog by julia. Monday, January 09, 2006. 1 Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? I suppose that, yes, I'm something of a yarn snob. I really like natural fibers and generally don't shop at craft stores like Michael's or Joanne's for yarn. Though, I do buy 100% cotton there sometimes and I do like Lion Wool and Wool Ease for certain things. You can't beat the prices, that's for sure! 2 Do you spin? 8 What other crafts or...

I've Been A Very Knitty Girl: October 2006
http://knittyknittygirl.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Okay, I now have four garments on the go. One is still the sweater. For my daughter. She will be too big for it by the time I finish it. Two is a one piece outfit. For myself - I have reached the part where you join the back and fronts and knit in the round and I am flummoxed by it. It does not look right no matter what I do with it. Can it be this hard? Falling in love with another activities that involve different skills may not be the smartest thing to do right now. But I just can't help. It just feel so great to see my hands creatin...Fiber...

http://knittyknittygirl.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 01, 2006. The only project I've been able to finish so far. How sad. Your guess is as good as mine on what it is supposed to be. The pattern says it's a dog, but my daughter thinks it's a mouse! The pattern was a bit wonky, but I liked that there were several different sizes to knit for different sized hands. I may have to play with this one a bit more! Posted by Heather @ 4:18 PM. Vancouver, British Columbia. View my complete profile. Colchique Along (En Anglais! The Chronicles of Yarnia.
