Each season brings its pleasures in our well established gardens and orchard. There’s a great playground and toys for the children, so you'll all enjoy the Colenso experience. The mandarins are ripe and now on sale and on a fine day you can still enjoy lunch in the garden. Open Mon to Fri 10am to 2.30pm, Sat and Sun 10am to 3pm.

Fig, chevre, walnut, rocket, mint and basil salad. Walnut and salty caramel date cake. Crab apple jelly baked cheesecake. Crisp potato rosti, smoked salmon and horseradish creme with a watercress, herb and caper salad. Colenso is licensed and serves Atomic coffee and a variety of teas. The Colenso shop is stocked with a wide variety of tempting wares. Indulge yourself with delicious chutneys, jams and local organic honey. Gorgeous scented soaps and potions, funky glassware, fabulous handbags, a great range of coloured candles, the coolest cards and wonderfully different jewellery. These hours apply until Labour Weekend in October.
