Thursday, March 1, 2012. Last summer Scott Robertson. Asked me to contribute to his book project, Blast. The theme was really inspirational to me personally, so I was excited to be part of it. It didn't help that Star Wars came out. Heard this story before? I believe in the technique I'm involved, or evolved, in, where thoughts and ideas about how things can exist, function, and look travel from idea to the 3D production canvas very quickly, with great fluidity. Strong design background and instincts in a variety of disciplines with emphasis on hard surface models, environments, and composition/framing for shots. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. This piece started as color and compositional exercise with no particular direction in mind. From the early arrangement of shapes I envisioned an oppressive wall dividing a cold and war-torn landscape. A UN Aid Module is stopped while displaced people collect much needed supplies to cope with their harsh environment.
