Swan Sightings from 2014/15 onwards. All sightings refer to WWT Slimbridge. 07/03/16 – All of the remaining Bewick’s. Swans were reported to have left WWT Slimbridge. A few days ago. I had a check around today and as expected found no swans. The season has ended. 01/03/16 – Today there were 22(2) Bewick’s. Swans on the Tack Piece at Slimbridge. August 2016 - On the long trail at RSPB Nagshead. The highlight of the day was a group of Fallow Deer including a buck. There were at least 6 individuals. Otherwise it was very quiet in the woods. August 2016 – This morning I managed to read the darvic. Ring on the Lesser Black-backed Gull that I saw on the 2. I am making the assumption that this is the same bird.
