Collecting the Dots

Monday, March 31, 2014. March was so very busy. We definitely lived up all 31 days of it! I began the month with a chop of my hair. I was ready for a change, and I thought donating it sounded like a good idea. Warmer months are ahead, and I thought it would be nice to lighten the load for summer! It was a fun change, and it was neat to know that my hair went to Children With Hair Loss. There were 10-15 mamas there, and my mom came to help out with Clara. It was lots of fun! Were roommates at Baylor, then...

Collecting the Dots: December 2013

http://www.collectingthedots.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 30, 2013. Christmas (on the 26th! In Denton and a Plano Visit. After our fun time in Cypress, we packed up and headed north on the 26th. We just pretended it was still the 25th, and it felt very Christmas-y! The Whites were more than accommodating with us trying the new Cypress Christmas this year, and it worked out okay too, because Cason's sister's family got to have a more laid-back Christmas on the 25th as well. Daddy still looked like a jokester in the elf hat. On the Sunday after C...

Collecting the Dots: August 2013

http://www.collectingthedots.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 31, 2013. 10 things that happened in August (second edition). I did a 10 things in August post, and so I thought I'd continue the tradition. I do anything to help this terrible month pass quickly. :) This year is a little sneaky because the first two things on my list technically happened in July, post-cruise, but in the last couple days of the month. I am such a rule-breaker. 3 The first weekend in August, we headed to New Braunfels for Baylor Summer Bunch! It was so much fun to be back...

Collecting the Dots: March 2013

Thursday, March 28, 2013. Spring Road Trippin' Bearathon. After we made it through the craziness of Spring Break, we decided to add a little more crazy and do a pretty comprehensive cross-Texas roadtrip! I so enjoyed the Bearathon last year. That I figured I'd do it again, and this time my sister Liz joined me on the run! We jumped back into the car and kept going north on 35 to Grandview where my nephew Collin goes to high school. We were able to grab dinner and head to Collin's baseball game with t...

Collecting the Dots: May 2013

http://www.collectingthedots.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 31, 2013. Annually, May continues to be a month of milestones, and 2013 was no different for our little family! Per usual, all of these events probably deserve their own blog entry, but I was finishing up my job and first trimestering. :) (Yes, that should be a verb! You know it's May when our passion vine begins to bloom with its explosive and whimsical flowers, the water table gets pulled back out, and we are looking for excuses to be in the pool! And while she likes the formality of her pr...

a simple little kind of free: Fallin'

http://annasheridan.blogspot.com/2011/10/fallin.html

A simple little kind of free. Thursday, October 20, 2011. When I think of fall, I think of Boston. It is the only place I have traveled to in the fall where the leaves actually change colors and there are fruit stands and regattas. See proof of leaves here:. So fa-la-la-la-la. Happy that fall has come because it has brought along a lot of goodness with it- like this new Coldplay video. Thankful for the little "paradise" that is Baylor. October 20, 2011 at 5:43 PM. http://annasheridan.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

A simple little kind of free. Thursday, July 7, 2011. I love my grandparents. Though I miss my Shirley Nanny lots, I am lucky to have three grandparents still living AND a Jonita. What's a Jonita? Papa came down to Houston to stay with us. One night I couldn't find him, and I realized he was sitting in the hot tub talking to Jonita on the phone. I about died. I have never even talked to a boy from the hot tub. Would you be able to even hear with the bubbles? Would HE be able to hear with all the bubbles?

a simple little kind of free: April 2012

http://annasheridan.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

A simple little kind of free. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Creativity comes in different forms for each person- for some it is music or dancing, and for others it may be painting or building. The thing about creativity is that is universal. Creativity has no limit on age, gender, religion or physical condition. After all, God is a creator. And in some pathetic and tiny way, when I create, I know that it is important to Him. For me, it is writing. Though I do enjoy a good needlepoint. View my complete profile.

A simple little kind of free. Monday, March 21, 2011. Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days." Psalm 90:14. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Why do I love twitter? Let me tell you. 3 I still do not fully understand hashtags, but I like to use them out loud more than on twitter because I can never think of them when it is crunch time. They just come to me ya know? I am sure you understand. Because I love twitter. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." Lamentations 3:24. Saturday, August 28, 2010. Updates, updates. I hope I haven't lost all of my readers due to my lack of blogging. Work has been insanely busy for me and we've also been super busy. Our life in blurbs:. We didn't get approved to switch to the minority only program with our agency. It's a small program with limited families. What does this mean for us? Jacob started Fall semester this week. YEAH! The training journal of a re-rider learning dressage. Details about Maddie (JC name La Cheryl). June 26, 2017. We’re having the most beautiful June imaginable, and I’m sorry to say I have not been spending much time in the saddle. I moved houses last weekend, and the run up to that event, and then the ensuing chaos of unpacking that followed have really eaten into the amount of time I spent riding lately. Collecting The Cubs

Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Cubs Breakdown - 2013 Panini Elite Extra Edition. 2013 Panini Elite Extra Edition. Unfortunately, this year's issue is not helped at all by the base card design. I would clearly rate this as the worst design for Elite Extra Edition in the history of the brand. It just doesn't resonate at all for me. And I don't see any inserts that are worth much from a design standpoint either. So a big negative on the looks of the cards from me. The breakdown of Cubs is below. Enjoy! 126 Rob ...

Friday, January 28, 2011. Maplecon 4 and 5 SF Conventions. Maplecon was a science fiction and comic book convention held in Ottawa during my teenage years. A friend of mine who attended 1981's Maplecon 4 first told me about it. Although I didn't attend Maplecon 4 I did save a clipping from our local newspaper. Two years later Maplecon 5 was held. I believe this was the first convention I attended, at the tender age of 14. The following pictures are from the Maplecon 5 program. Hal Clement signed Needle.
