Sizing up the competition | Overloadjunct's Blog

Being an overloaded adjunct. Sizing up the competition. September 23, 2010. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just hit a button like this? Just one little button, on our computers, laptops, phones, home and work computers, and we could begin directly typing into our blog? Better yet, how about that same key gives us instant access to not only our blogs, but instinctively knows what blogs we would have interest in and brings up those as well? Mr. Rein's Ponderings: April 2011

Monday, April 11, 2011. Limit Search Results to a Specific Reading Level? Today I was reading some of the different posts on lifehacker.com. Something like this that breaks down the difficulty of the reading for K-12 students or even just elementary students could be very useful in education. It does not limit the search results unless specifically asked to. It does however provide labels showing the reading level of each site found. The other day in class we watched another TED Talk. I watch a lot of mo...

Mr. Rein's Ponderings: February 2011
http://mrreinsponderings.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 27, 2011. I found the partner intro presentations to be fun and creative. There was no set way of presenting our introductions to the class. This allowed everyone to get creative and use any medium they wanted to make their introduction. Andrew and I chose to use Prezi. How to Create a Great Prezi. Monday, September 27, 2010. Looking to the Future. President Obama was on the Today Show this morning and had a half hour interview about the state of education in our country. So I just thought I would post the video for those of you who may have not been able to catch it this morning. Visit msnbc.com for breaking news. And news about the economy. Mr. Rein's Ponderings: Skinny Pop?
http://mrreinsponderings.blogspot.com/2011/04/skinny-pop.html
Monday, April 11, 2011. I find it to be kind of funny how they decided to release the skinny can during a week that glamorizes ridiculously skinny women. I wonder what this is saying to the consumers, especially women. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The World is Flat. Limit Search Results to a Specific Reading Level? Mr. Rein's Ponderings: Interactive Whiteboards
http://mrreinsponderings.blogspot.com/2011/05/interactive-whiteboards.html
Tuesday, May 3, 2011. I absolutely love interactive whiteboards! This was my favorite activity we did this whole semester. I would love to take a class that is all about interactive whiteboards. This was the first time I was able to create things that could be used on the board. After watching the videos on how to create the flipchart. I started to make my own. The favorite thing I made for my flipchart was the magnifying glass. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
