The ‘making up for lost time’ edition. So, where’d the name come from? Well, I live on a corner. Obvious? I’m lucky enough to have a fabulous apartment that in NYC would cost me more than quadruple what I’m paying in rent now. Said apartment has a sunroom that doubles as a living room, with six gorgeous windows that wrap around a corner. It’s noisy. It’s busy. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. The ‘making up for lost time’ edition. Laquo; map, please. Making sense of chaos. August 5, 2009. OK I’m going to admit to something today I swore I never would. I miss being a full-time journalist. There I said it. I was sitting at home last night absolutely glued to the TV as the tragic events were unfolding at the LA Fitness center in Collier Township. As I was watching, I immediately flashed back to some of my more difficult reporting moments. Walking through Ground Zero just one month after Sept...

The ‘making up for lost time’ edition. Laquo; making sense of chaos. Continuing the ‘process.’. August 19, 2009. It’s hard to believe it’s been ten years. Ten years ago this week, I moved in to what was then Robert Morris College to begin a week of camp with what was then known as the C-Jam Blues Band. I carried my stuff, with the help of my parents, into my second-floor room in Monroe and barely had time to get settled before scurrying off to meet my new bandmates. I had good times and bad times …...

GO TO WWW.RMUCENTREICE.NET. Posted by Dave Weldon at 3/29/2008 01:14:00 AM. As the NCAA Hockey season is winding down, I will go back and take a look at the previous RMU Men's and Women's seasons to generate a preview from everything involving current players to new ones, season match ups and a look at possible outcomes for the season. My goal is to have something formulated in the coming weeks, barring time and unrelated events to the Centre Ice blog, this should be very possible. From the Utah Grizzlies.

The ‘making up for lost time’ edition. 8216;process,’ part one. Continuing the ‘process.’. November 18, 2009. Last December, I was really excited to have been elected as the Signature Event chairperson for Pittsburgh Young Professionals. The task that was put before me was to organize a gala-type event to raise money for both a Pittsburgh-area nonprofit and the PYP scholarship fund. And I had a whole year to put mine together. It was going to be fabulous. I made a connection with Pittsburgh Cares. I got ...
