The Anglersflybox blog: October 2009
http://anglersflybox.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
The blog for the anglersflybox.com. Saturday, October 24, 2009. I know I have been negligent in my posting, and I will explain soon, but today I absolutely crushed the steelhead. Most were 8-10 lbs but some were BIG, I mean real BIG. These fish were as bright silver and full of piss as I have ever seen. They were eating pink egg flies http:/ www.anglersflybox.com/glo-bug-pink.html. And almost nothing else. Have to go but there is more to come. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The blog for the anglersflybox.com. Saturday, June 13, 2009. June 18, 2009 at 10:31 PM. Just curious, where was that successful fly and ski shop located? If it was local, I may have purchased my first decent fly rod there. Good luck with the new inventory. June 19, 2009 at 9:19 AM. The shop was called Brookwood, it was located in Rexford and Rudy Romania was the owner. June 19, 2009 at 9:27 AM. Rudy sold me that rod. I was sixteen, and had saved my pennies for a year. Twenty years ago . geez.

The blog for the anglersflybox.com. Thursday, May 21, 2009. Wishin I was Fishin. This would be the perfect evening to be standing waist deep in a cold trout stream casting cdc spinners to the trout sipping flies of the surface. Oh well, I hope to be on the stream tomorrow am . Tuesday, February 22, 2011. There have been a surprising number of local folks expressing interest in my fly patterns. I am therefore gratified to announce that Rainy's will be picking up two more of my bugs this coming year. Go-Go Dancer; Black. Go-Go Dancer; Pearl Chartreuse. CarpeTrutta: Why do I bother?
http://carpetrutta.blogspot.com/2013/02/why-do-i-bother.html
Friday, February 15, 2013. Why do I bother? I have been staying with my efforts in building good and productive lures despite (or perhaps because of) the hell that is winter. I am not a fan of frozen lakes. I know people that enjoy ice fishing more than they do open water. I have also heard some people will not eat bacon or drink alcohol. It is difficult to understand why people are as they are. I am pretty eager to be out throwing this. 8734;§∞. Posted by Shaun Solomon. Friday, February 15, 2013. One ev...
