April | 2012 | Chef Juje
https://chefjuje.wordpress.com/2012/04
A messy adventure in learning to cook. Archive for the month “April, 2012”. This is the dish that inspired Chef Juje! I tried this dish for the first time a few months ago, back when I was *just* learning to cook and before I discovered online cooking classes or blogs or basically anything that would help me along my way. I didn’t know how to heat a pan and was afraid of using oil and my patience was even shorter than it is now. And he by far is Chef Juje’s biggest fan (and beneficiary! The recipe I used...

The Cookbook Junkie: Sure about the recipe, on the fence about the book
http://cookbookjunkie.blogspot.com/2007/03/sure-about-recipe-on-fence-about-book.html
Wednesday, March 07, 2007. Sure about the recipe, on the fence about the book. 1 cup picante sauce. 188; cup honey. 189; teaspoon ground ginger. 1 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. First I had to test some of the recipes and so far I've made three of them. The first two weren't bad but they weren't great either. Oh no. Panic set in. I don't want to give away a crappy cookbook yet I don't want two of these either, ya know? So right now the score i...

I should add that for the past year or so, the extra bedroom has been The Tupperware Room. Yeah anyone who knows ...

Suncoast Living: A lovely weekend
http://suncoastliving.blogspot.com/2009/04/lovely-weekend.html
Thursday, April 02, 2009. She is loving her increased greens diet: a large handful of kale, romaine lettuce, flat leaf parsley, curly parsley, and cilantro. Thank heavens it's all pretty cheap at Target. She also has enjoyed a new part of her diet: power cables. Our new scanner/printer/fax had a particularly tasty power cord. Brad had to splice it back together. Not cute, Bunny. In other news, Brad ate a burrito! That's where Carl and I honeymooned - I'd LOVE to see more pictures. Living the Seaver Life.

Lorence's Kitchen: August 2009

Recipes, Restaurant reviews, musings and rants. I'm just an ordinary guy trying to feed his family and I love food! Cooking it, shopping for it, learning about it and of course, eating it! And I love watching my family enjoy what I make for them. I am definitely NOT a chef, though someday, maybe someday, I'll try culinary school and learn to do things the "right way". In the mean time, I'll keep doing what I do, trying new things, learning product, technique and trying to share it with you. 3 Tablespoons...
