Colvend and Southwick Community Council. Mainsriddle is five and a half miles east of Colvend on the main road to Dumfries. It is little more than an attractive row of houses but once had two churches. It is home to Mainsriddle Pottery. Where you find hand thrown high-fired stoneware and porcelain, ceramic animals and watercolours. It has a constantly evolving selection of work all handmade on the premises.
