Cyclenut: October 2012
http://cyclenut.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
My biking life as captured in kilobytes and text of my own and of friends I've met in the cycling community. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Ready to hit the trail, this is fun she exclaimed! Notice her cycling socks! We found martian brains on the trail and she decided she wanted to know what they looked like inside. Taking time to stop and observe and learn. Have I mentioned what a cool kid she is? Sunday, October 21, 2012. More tinkering in the garage. Or a Paul Flatbed. Ciclovia Fat Antonio style.

Goat in a Turtle Shell: May 2014
http://goatshell.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Goat in a Turtle Shell. Spring With The Kids so Far. Posted by The Evil MGE! Monday, May 12, 2014. I'm lucky enough to live within a mile of Bear Creek Lake Park. A perfect place to take the little ones and introduce them to singletrack. Yep, that's a dog's head you see behind mine. My dog doesn't care for running pavement( a true mtb dog in the making) but he loves dirt. My 9 year old and pup heading down Mt Carbon. And my 6 year old loves being pulled on the trail a bike. This is gonna be a good year!

Pedalasoreass (w)Rex: Mayan Winter
http://lubessummer.blogspot.com/2013/01/mayan-winter.html
Since our last episode:. Xmas eve on GM. Xmas surprise, no mo' cold toes! Met up with Kevin (b-day boy) and Joe for a NYE pedal around Elk Meadows to make sure all was in order for the next morning. The beginning of a new year also meant it was time for the 4th Annual Beerd Belly Ride. Back on the home-front: finally moved into the 90s by picking up a fancy Droid4. So time to play my part in being a Stravasshole. Must stay hydrated during house repairs. Coming to the prerelease on the 27th? I do know TMZ.

Pedalasoreass (w)Rex: On this Day.........
http://lubessummer.blogspot.com/2014/03/on-this-day.html
In 1979, I was in 8th grade at Lemoyne Middle School. When the shit hit the fan. About 1.5 miles, as the crow flies from the house I grew up in, on the Susquehanna River, is a little place called Three Mile Island. Early that morning, a stuck valve caused a problem. Which resulted in the country's worst nuclear accident. Up to that time. What was really freaky, was that only 2 weeks before this, a movie came out dealing with nuclear meltdowns - The China Syndrome. No idea of the actual release of radiati...

http://lubessummer.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Bikes have happened on occasion. While waiting on leftovers of a visit from old man winter to go away, Bobby and I hit up GBP after work. Bobby rides the skyline. Had a long weekender back east for an in-law reunion. Arrived in DC Thursday evening and hung out w/the Shaw clan and my ma, who popped down for the night. Headed out the next morning to re-visit Bluemont Vineyard. Friday evening took us to Legal Seafoods. Washington Monument through the not-yet blooming sakura. Then the FDR Memorial. We then m...

Summer 2013, fuck you. As I took the bins to the curb, I found that some 'artist' had their way w/our cars, both of which were parked in the driveway, as well as the neighbor's garage. This day also was scheduled for the removal of the pain-in-the-ass silver maple that's plagued our sewer line since moving in. Good riddance, ya bastard! Gas rag elbow grease. I participated in The Captain 2013. To the top, James. I finished in 1 piece. But the bike didn't. Donald Paul Lubic, 4/2/44-6/14/13. Came back home...

Had the in-laws in town for a long weekend, so headed to Estes Park the day. Glad we made it, because less than 2 weeks later the rains came. Got back to doing a little bit of pedaling, headed up Mt Evergreen after work. Finished up work early, so checked out Bergen Peak after a cold spell and found perfect conditions. Since I got out during daylight for my ride, I stopped by the TITS ride later that night to have a few drinks w/the crew before they headed out. Rocky and Miss Silvia in the house! Rising ...

And I have got a few good rides in.until got that hand x-rayed. Had a Subie engine re-built.correctly. To celebrate our freedoms, we hit Jones Pass again. Enjoyed Jones Pass so much, we went back for picnic on a hot day. We harvested some purple veg. More 2-wheel chaos ensued in July, but I kept the camera tucked away, as it was mostly done on super secret trails. Two episodes of chaos stand out most: I was following Jason down Cruel &Unusual, and spaced on the little gap (0:56). Links to this post.
