Think it through before you blurt it out. A Great Deal for Ridgefield. The proposed sale of ten acres of the Schlumberger property is a great deal for the Town. I urge everyone to vote for it. We bought the land to keep it from being purchased by a high density, affordable housing developer who would ruin our beloved Ridgefield. The Selectmen then developed a plan that would allow controlled development of the land and recoup most, if not all, of our $7 million investment.

Their efforts are best understood in some recent letters to the editor of the Ridgefield Press.
