Great American Novel View. Joan of Arc View. Church On Tuesday View. I am uncertain. I try to be certain, but it is hard to be certain in an unfamiliar place. I don’t have the perspective to place everything in the scene, to see intended meaning. I remember Istanbul, but it is changing so rapidly, what I remember probably won’t matter, what I do remember will shift.

Great American Novel Current. Joan of Arc View. Church On Tuesday View. Work inspired by my interest in the first great generation of American literature, monuments, and photography. Herman Melville, Walt Whitman, Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Henry David Thoreau were particularly influential, as well as the fact that this literary generation were working around the time when the Machine invaded the Garden and photography was invented.
