Sunday, May 31, 2009. Have you heard of this… its taking old things and altering them so they can be used again! Well, my favorite type of Up-cyling is altering my girls clothes. So here is my solution…. Ordinary pair of jeans with holes in the knees:. So you’re probably thinking, cut them off for shorts – duh! But have you ever noticed that jeans fit tighter than shorts… and especially Ruby, whose thighs are more generous, its not comfortable to have just plain ole cutoffs. But you can make a skirt!

Wednesday, January 06, 2010. The countdown has begun for my hubby to return home! I am not getting much ‘me’ crafting in lately. I have some sewing and scrappy projects to finish for other people, and then I think I’m going to take a break and just focus on what I want to do. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Of course I have a mile long To-Do list… but what do I spend 2 hours on tonight? I found the tute here. And changed it up a teeny bit. In scrappy-ness, I finished a ‘Cup of Comfort’ album for Back Porch Memories. Its made from a Maya road coffee cup album and has some cute recipes and such on it. Friday, February 26, 2010. Two down, one to go! I told the girls I would make them Molly Monkeys. Before Christmas. So I’ve gotten around to doing two of them… one more to go – that one is going to be a pirate monkey for Karis. The original Molly Monkey for Sierra.
