Now that you’re gone it means that my year is not riddled with emotional minefields as it is for others. Or so they report). My friends don’t spend their time worrying and whispering behind windows. Deciding who will become secret babysitter to my meltdown. Because I never remember that it’s your birthday. My mind does not even attempt to determine how old you might be. I've felt for a while that life is about balancing, and freelance life perhaps even more so. And freelance life with a child? EVEN even more so. So.I know this.
