Location: 221 South Lincoln Street (just one short block south of the store). Worden, IL 62097. Volunteers come on Saturdays (usually 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM) to help renovate. Progress has been slow in 2015, but it should be completed in 2016. There's still much to be done - digging in the basement, plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc. Praise God for caring people! Come and see this fine town! The Worden Post Office - these people are GREAT! COMPEL does a lot of shipping through the USPS. The personnel at Village Hall are friendly. One of our GREAT volunteers. If you have scrap metal, he knows where to take it! Linda, our Post Master. The famous Worden COW is now on display in the store window! Bob, our Mail Carrier. Worden may be small, but it has a very nice library.
