I know its early but no time like the present right? So far this is what i have. 1) 2500 miles (average 48 miles per week). 2) run a 50K. 3) 10k under 40 mins. 4) 5K under 19 mins. 5) half marathon under 1:30. 6) full marathon under 3:15. Monday, April 25, 2011. Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday weekend! I am sorry I haven't updated my blog. I really really promise to try to update it daily! Yesterday was a gorgeous hot day! Unfortunately, we didn't run :( I just did some light weights. But we ran today! It was only 65 degrees but 100% humidity! It was soo hard to breathe! 56:27, 9:24 pace. Believe me, we were happy when it was over! I love running in the heat but my body has to get used to it again! Have a great day xo.

Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Some more 2012 updates. All has been going well here. Mom went to the oncologist and he was very pleased with to inform her that she still is cancer free and ok! She has her colonoscopy on 1/30. If that goes well (which it will), February 4th will be her 2 years cancer free mark! I'm so so happy for her. It's been a long journey but she deserves the best. I wish my Grandma was here to see all this; she'd be so proud. On Monday, I will be celebrating my 23rd birthday! The Jour...

Monday, April 11, 2011. 7 Miles on a Gorgeous Day! Today we ran 7 miles! OMG our legs killed this morning. It was such a tough run because I was so sore from yesterdays race AND it was humid and sunny. We managed to run 7 miles at a 10:01 pace, totaling 1:10:18. We were happy with that. Tomorrow is an off day! PHEWWWW I loved having sunny 80 degree weather today! But tomorrow, it's back to rain and 50's :(. Where is the summer! Hope you all had a great day! Hugs to your mom. Sunday, October 25, 2009. I wasn't going to run today because I didn't feel like it, but I decided to go anyway. It wasn't a good run. I just had no energy and stopped after 1.64 miles. I still got in something, but I'm not happy :(. I managed to run it in 15:42 which was a good pace for me. Saturday, October 24, 2009. Monday, October 5, 2009. So I was thrilled! It's also difficult for me to get used to running at night. I'm such a morning runner, but with my new schedule, that's impossible.

Sunday, April 10, 2011. Today, we raced the Blue Claws 5k in Lakewood. It was a great race! Pace and I placed 2nd in my age group! Also, 115/471 runners, and 25/249 females! She did great as well! She placed 4th in her age group and 133/471 runners! I hope this is the beginning of some serious PR's this season :). We moved our long run tomorrow so be sure to check back for an update!
