The Conrow Family Blog

The Conrow Family Blog. Friday, December 9, 2011. Monday morning, December 5. I went in for my 40-week midwife appointment (actually at 39 weeks, 5 days). Over the weekend I had experienced some signs that labor was coming and my body was already preparing so I asked her to strip my membranes which she agreed to do – I was determined to have a baby this week! Afterward she said she fully expected me to go that night or the next day. After my appointment, things never stopped. They really started to pick ...

http://www.conrowfamily.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

The Conrow Family Blog. Monday, June 28, 2010. Happy Birthday, Alan! We left Philly mid-afternoon on Sunday to split up the drive. We went the rest of the way on Monday - also Alan's 30th birthday! Not much to report for this day as it was spent driving and just being exhausted. Sunday, June 27, 2010. On Sunday morning we met up again at the King of Prussia Mall. Adeline with Aunt Laura and Uncle Patrick. They gave her her first pair of Reefs - real CA shoes :). Saturday, June 26, 2010. And being silly :).

The Conrow Family Blog. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Kayaking on the Pond. We stayed the weekend at Amma's after Adeline's birthday because Grandmother and Pa were visiting from California and we wanted to spend some time together. While Grandmother was in town she bought Amma a new (second) kayak for the pond so more people could go out at once, so Grandmother and Amma each took a girl out on the pond and kayaked around. One of our favorite summertime activities at Amma's! Thursday, June 23, 2011. Alan's mo...

Our Little Bundles of Joy: August 2013

http://lillianjoyjoy.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Our Little Bundles of Joy. Sunday, August 25, 2013. Dan and I have been talking about renovating our kitchen someday but, to be honest, I didn't think we would actually do it. Our main issues with the "old" kitchen were the deterioration of the cupboards, the bulkiness of the serving peninsula, and the feeling that it just wasn't our style. After much deliberation we decided to take the plunge! Here are the official "before" pictures:. With the new cabinets in place it became apparent that the cherry din...

Our Little Bundles of Joy: May 2014

http://lillianjoyjoy.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Our Little Bundles of Joy. Thursday, May 22, 2014. Caleb has had a wonderful year of preschool. He has had fun, made friends, andwas blessed with a wonderful teacher. Today is the last day of preschool and the day began with a celebration at a nearby park. The entire family was invited to attend and both boys had a great time playing! Caleb's graduation ceremony was very sweet and brief, which is exactly what I was hoping for, since it started. Caleb smiled big as he walked across the stage! Dan noticed ...

Our Little Bundles of Joy: Disney trip: Magic Kingdom

http://lillianjoyjoy.blogspot.com/2015/02/disney-trip-magic-kingdom_13.html

Our Little Bundles of Joy. Friday, February 13, 2015. Disney trip: Magic Kingdom. Today was our last day at Walt Disney World. We chose to spend an extra day at Magic Kingdom since there is so much to do and see. We were all excited to return and see some of what we missed on Tuesday. The excitement started as soon as we arrived and hopped on a magic carpet with Aladdin, Jasmine, and some spitting camels. Dan and I decided to indulge in a little pick-me-up after that (and I neglected to pack an adequate ...

Our Little Bundles of Joy: February 2014

http://lillianjoyjoy.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html

Our Little Bundles of Joy. Tuesday, February 18, 2014. After breakfast we listened to songs from the movie, "Frozen" while making coffee filter snowflakes. Later on we had "school" as Caleb practiced his letters on the tablet and Lillian practiced her math fluency on the computer. While the boys napped Lillian and I had some girly fun. Her favorite character from "Frozen" is Anna, but she has a platinum wig and blue dress, so it was only natural for her to dress up as Elsa. Monday, February 17, 2014.

Our Little Bundles of Joy: St. Patrick's day fun

http://lillianjoyjoy.blogspot.com/2015/03/st-patricks-day-fun.html

Our Little Bundles of Joy. Tuesday, March 17, 2015. St Patrick's day fun. We may not have much Irish blood in us, but we still take two days to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! The fun started on Saturday at Holland's annual parade. I love the expressions on the kids' faces in these next two pictures! After some celebrating on Saturday, we continued the fun on St. Patrick's day with Lucky Charms for breakfast and four leaf clover waffles for dinner. Can you tell our kids love breakfast? St Patricks day fun.

The Schmidts: Surprise!

http://jasonschmidt.blogspot.com/2011/07/surprise.html

Monday, July 18, 2011. Surprise baby #4 is due Valentine's Day 2012. We had our first prenatal appointment today and got to see the little peanut's beating heart and waving hands. I didn't have an early ultrasound with the first three, so we were pleasantly surprised and delighted that we got to see this one so soon. What a miracle to see the baby's limbs, heart, and head at just 10 weeks! Ha, ha, God is much greater then spermicide and breastfeeding. We got our answer loud and clear. I have been a littl...

The Coddingtons: December 2011

http://loscoddingtons.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, December 31, 2011. Our friends, the Kerns, invited us for their annual kid-friendly New Year's Party again. We had a blast and so did the kids! She prepared 3 crafts (hats, snowmen candle holder, and noise makers) so Hannah was in heaven! At 8pm the kids scrambled out to the deck to pop bubble wrap and scream at the top of their lungs. An extra little touch this year was the balloon drop (rigged in the trees by Justin and Melissa). Thanks guys! It was wonderful as always! December in New York.

The Coddingtons: January 2012

http://loscoddingtons.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Hannah and Timmy are starting to interact a little more. Big sister loves to help Timmy and had a blast riding in this cart car with him while we went grocery shopping. It took us a little longer to get our shopping done but the giggles were so worth it! Hannah spent some special time decorating the shirts that Uncle Aaron and Aunt Lisa gave her for Christmas. Timmy has learned where to find the yummy snacks! Music to a momma's ears! Posted by The Coddingtons. I had been in the...

Thursday, January 12, 2012. Oh, my sweet boy. I simply cannot believe that it has already been a year since we welcomed you into our family. What a challenge and a joy it's been! Jim Conroy - "People before Politics"

Jim Conroy - "People before Politics". Monday, April 25, 2011. It's not too late! Now that the City of Troy has received re-submissions from the same developers who originally proposed to redevelop the City Hall site at 1 Monument Square, it is not too late to reverse course and relocate City Hall to the former building. Obviously, the original three proposals were not satisfactory. Can we expect the new submissions to be anything better? The City of Troy still has time to evaluate all it’s options...
