A blog about programming, computers, science, and anything else I feel like writing about. Saturday, March 1, 2014. Mighty Moose and Contextual (a/k/a Hierarchical) TDD. In my last few blog posts, I introduced Mighty Moose. And advanced TDD using nested, hierarchical context classes. If you have started using Mighty Moose and tried your hand at contextual. http://discoveringcode.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
A blog about programming, computers, science, and anything else I feel like writing about. Tuesday, February 25, 2014. At my current place of employment, I was recently introduced to the “Uncle Bob” series of videos, more properly titled Clean Coders. In episodes 19 through 23, Robert Martin begins a series on advanced test-driven development. In NET, I use the standard MS Test test framework. I know, it’s not great, and I should use NUnit or xUnit, right? Usually when we create tests, we create one test...

http://discoveringcode.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
A blog about programming, computers, science, and anything else I feel like writing about. Thursday, March 6, 2014. Code Contracts and Test-Driven Development. This post will be mostly about Microsoft’s Research in Software Engineering (RiSE) group’s Code Contracts. I’ll also cover the role of code contracts in conjunction with test-driven development. Разработка на всем: Непрерывная интеграция (Continuous Integration)
http://shurikev.blogspot.com/2011/08/continuous-integration.html

Software Development, Testing, and Refactoring. My Favorite Visual Studio Plugins. February 2, 2013. I’ve spent a lot of time last year learning my tools better, and I’ve built up a list of plug-ins for Visual Studio that help me work smarter and faster. All of the plug-ins below work on both Visual Studio 2010 and 2012. Honestly, there’s so much more ReSharper can do, you owe it to yourself to give their demo a try. ViEmu adds vim emulation to Visual Studio. Vim is a super-powerful editor that lets ...
