Conversations With Amber: Better Late than Never?

http://www.conversationswithamberlee.blogspot.com/2011/09/better-late-than-never.html

Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Better Late than Never? Just moments after she walked down the aisle (and directly to dad who was sitting in a front pew) Dad sat her down at the back of the chapel where she proceeded to walk! Why couldn't she have done that five minutes earlier? Oh well, better late than never. :-). January 12, 2012 at 5:38 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Where has the time gone? Only yesterday my daughter was a tiny 7 lb baby sleeping in my arms. View my complete profile.

Sunday, August 29, 2010. Grandma and Grandpa Lee. Here is Phillip with Mama Sue holding Lilly.below this picture is a picture of the new grandparents, John and Tommie, with Phillip, Mama Sue and sweet Lilly G. What a great family! Great Grandma Mama Sue finally got to meet Miss Lilly. She arrived with Aunt Barbie the day she was born and is seen here holding her for the first time. I'm sure she'll get to spend much more time holding our precious bundle of joy. Phillip can hardly put her down!

Conversations With Amber: April 2011

http://www.conversationswithamberlee.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 28, 2011. It's official, I have the best baby in the world! She's cute, she sings, she dances, she's learning to scoot/crawl and she says "da da". She sleeps through the night and she eats all her veggies. I don't know what I did to get so lucky. This picture is of her looking through our coffee table. She was successful in clearing out everything that was on this shelf but she wanted to have one last look. I squatted down on the other side and took this picture. BUSTED!

Santana's Story: August 2011

http://santanasstory.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 1, 2011. It's been a LOOONG time! I almost forgot that I had this blog! I feel compelled to update you on how Santana is doing. I actually just moved her closer to our house 2 nights ago! A lot has happened since the last time I posted, so I will try to paraphrase:. I moved Santana from Trinity River Farm to Centerline Stables in Fort Worth. Centerline was AWESOME. The trainer was so great and it felt great to be at an Eventing barn with no kids! We moved Santana on Saturday!

Santana's Story: February 2011

http://santanasstory.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Monday, February 28, 2011. It's been almost a month. And a lot has been going on. I will warn you a little with this post; it may be lengthy. So, to start out with, Danielle still hasn't gotten Lilly. It's been a BUNCH of phone tag with the lady that is keeping her (LeeAnn) and a lot of wasted time so far, BUT we believe LeeAnn took Lilly to the vet last week to get her shots up to date! I'll keep you updated on this process. After quite a bit of research and some opinions, I decided to go with alfalfa p...

Santana's Story: Conformation

http://santanasstory.blogspot.com/2010/12/conformation.html

Thursday, December 30, 2010. This is not to be confused with confirmation =). According to wikipedia, Equine Conformation evaluates the degree of correctness of a horse's bone structure, musculature, and its body proportions in relation to each other. Basically conformation is how the horse is physically built. Just like with people, there is an "ideal" conformation for horses and this will change with what the horse will be used for. The Right Conformation for an Eventer. Let's Start Back in 2011. Pictu...

Santana's Story: Bad News Bears...

http://santanasstory.blogspot.com/2011/01/bad-news-bears.html

Wednesday, January 19, 2011. So a little bit of bad news (don't worry, it's not too bad). 1 I dont have pictures of Santana's new kicks. When Nelle (pronounced Nelly) came to do her feet last Saturday, there were a million things going on at the barn. There were lessons going on and people everywhere. Couple that with the fact that the weather had been bad a few days prior and Santana had been kept up in her stall and you get one very impatient horse! Here is an example of a twitch on a horse:.

Santana's Story: New Year!!

http://santanasstory.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-year.html

Tuesday, January 4, 2011. I hope everyone had a fantastic New Year! My husband and I met several friends at another friend's house to ring in the New Year. It was a ton of fun! So now on to the important stuff, Resolutions! I will keep mine mostly geared toward Santana for this blog). 2 Get Santana in shape! My little girl will be 5 years old this month, but she still looks a little like a baby! Time for her to grow some muscles and stop getting winded after a 10 minute workout (me too! Conversations with a Human Heart.

Conversations with a Human Heart. Mama said there’d be days like this. I peered though the haze of a difficult day as the sky darkened to an oppressive yellow. Locals emerged from homes, sticky and restless, as an alien landscape lowered itself from the skies. another realty imposing itself on the streets and shopping centers of an American wasteland a three dimensional double exposure. I watched as cell phones and gaping stares were aimed high at the roiling clouds who boasted an unsettling palette.

Conversations with a lawn mower. October 19, 2013. My life. I have not been a good steward. Too much waiting, not enough action, time is no longer on my side. Only in the last year has this astonishing fact started to come clear. Why this year you ask? Good question. I think it’s probably because I am now an unemployed middle aged grandmother without the means to support herself in the style of which I would like to become accustom. Could I be the cause of all the failing businesses? Where did my life go?

Conversations With A Mentor - Home

Conversations With A Mentor. I remember when I first started in a corporate job. I was so excited to wear the outfit and show up to an office that I didn’t think too far ahead about where the job was leading me or what I really wanted to do. A year later I became the Program Manager for a major telecommunications company that employed over ten thousand people, where I was meeting with the team who reported directly to the CEO and influencing the way the entire business ran. So how did I do it?
