I ended up working over a weekend so I took a week day off from the day job to relax. My day was spent pretty much sewing and watching Merlin. Needle, Threads, and Whims. A blog following my often too many random sewing projects. Saturday, January 12, 2013. 2013 Here I Come! Sigh, I did almost no sewing in 2012. Being pregnant meant that making things for myself was daunting at best. I just couldn't get excited about making anything maternity related. To top it off my hands also decided to swell to a size to rival the Hulk's hands so I just focused on other things. This basket by the way was holding all of my sewing "gadgets". Links to this post.

Needle, Threads, and Whims. A blog following my often too many random sewing projects. Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Challenge #8 UFO Complete. The Challenge: UFO Unfinished Object. Fabric: Green cotton velveteen, cream shiny poly something, trims. Started as a Margo Anderson Pattern in 2009ish. Notions: metallic copper trim, black velvet trim, black ribbon. How historically accurate is it? All modern materials and hand sewn. Hours to complete: completing sleeves only took maybe 5 hours once I got started.
