Sunday, July 8, 2012. Today's recipe is from the book Bake! It's a yeast-dough that you can mix up quickly with basic ingredients. I messed up the first time (I added the yeast to the flour) and I still ended up with delicious dough. I made it correctly the second time and it was just as good. This makes a lot of dough! The book says it's enough for 4 twelve inch round pizzas. I made two 12*18 rectangle pizzas. 5 c bread flour (I used King Arthur White Wheat flour). 2 t active dry yeast. 2 C warm water.

Saturday, August 16, 2014. B and I have been huge fans of the KIND products since they first started making their delicious bars and snacks. They are the perfect healthy snack to throw in my purse when I have a long day at school and the fact that they are made with pure ingredients and no additives makes them even better. Guess we'll have to stock up next time we're in the States. The exact recipe will be coming soon. Thank you so much to Kristi and the KIND team for sending us their delicious samples!

It ended up pretty good … we had a slice for dinner, and then at an impromptu brunch the next morning, I served the leftovers to several aunts and an uncle, who thought it was great. 1 puff pastry, thawed. 1/2 cup of Mascarpone cheese. 3 tablespoons of raspberry jam (or your choice of flavor). Sliced fruit – your choice, I used 3 kiwi, 1/2 pint of blueberries, and a 1/2 pint of strawberries. March 20, 2012.

Friday, July 3, 2015. When we need something warm and comforting on a rainy evening, then soup is the answer. This pepper soup was an inspiration from a picture in a cookbook which I was sifting through. Then I saw a some fresh peppers in the market and voila! Serves- 2 large portions. Pasta (any shape)- 1/2 to 3/4 cup. Red pepper/ Red color capsicum- 5. Olive oil - 1 tbsp. Shallots- 2, chopped fine. Vegetable broth- 1 cup. Black pepper- 1/4 tsp or as per taste. Salt as per taste. I will say that this recipe is somewhat more labor-intensive (and dish-heavy! Than I usually work with, but I also feel that the end result is more than worth it. Nobodywould guess that these were healthified. They seem too dense to be considered healthy! Now, they’re not totally healthy but they’re healthier than they could be! 2 tsp baking soda.
