Livin Easy in St Geezy: Apostophes and Acronyms
http://melindasuzy.blogspot.com/2009/07/apostophes-and-acronyms.html
Livin Easy in St Geezy. Friday, July 3, 2009. I am never sure if I should put "s" or "'s" following an acronym. It has become my habit to add an apostrophe before my s, such as ABC's, CD's, CNA's, etc. I would guess that many of you may have the same question. I would love to be able to answer your question but it seems that the jury is out across the board. WSU it was suggested that it is acceptable to use an apostrophe; however, Rutgers suggested that the apostrophe should be avoided. Old guy in school.

Someone once said...: Grammer Post Week 4
http://some1oncesaid.blogspot.com/2009/06/grammer-post-week-4.html
Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Grammer Post Week 4. That vs. Which. When I saw this in a rule book I had to stop and think if I had previously realized that, or if I had been making the same mistake all my life. That is used in a sentence when something specific or important is being described like: " I don't believe that money is the root of all evil.". That referred specifically to the subject of the sentence. Most important. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Livin easy in St Geezy. Old guy in school.

PickingMikesbrain: I'm black, Your White,Who's Innocent by Shelby Steele
http://pickingmikesbrain.blogspot.com/2009/06/im-black-your-whitewhos-innocent-by.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2009. I'm black, Your White,Who's Innocent by Shelby Steele. I thought that this was a well written but I didn't agree with what she said. I think that many people in America need to get over the fact that there is a lot of racism in history. We can't move forward if we are consistently looking backward. I have lived with many different people with a lot of different backgrounds and race didn't mean anything to us. We just felt like brothers even though we looked different. I'm black, y...

The Nation seriously needs to look inside themselves and believe that it is themselves and they need to not be induced by the easy way to get food, but look for the nutrition side of things. One has to think what would happen if everybody became conscious about how they spent their lives and what they ate. Would it lower the cost of health care? Would we be able to get past environmental issues? June 29, 2009 at 11:35 AM. The Work...

Brady's Disquisition: I'm Black, You're White, Who's Innocent
http://bradysdisquisition.blogspot.com/2009/07/im-black-youre-white-whos-innocent.html
Sunday, July 5, 2009. I'm Black, You're White, Who's Innocent. I'm Black, You're White, Who's Innocent? Was not one of my favorite reads. It seems that Steel is too close to this issue to be objective. The writing would have been more effective if it was written. More like a scholarly. Work and not as a narrative. Steel's constant use of ph. Locations. I lived in southern Georgia on and off for 6 years during. The globe and many discriminate. Against others. It is not just an American phenomenon. Missing...

Brady's Disquisition: America the Beautiful: What We're Fighting for
http://bradysdisquisition.blogspot.com/2009/07/america-beautiful-what-were-fighting.html
Sunday, July 12, 2009. America the Beautiful: What We're Fighting for. I enjoyed reading this writing by Dinesh. Our country is a melting pot for culture, ideas, invention and innovation. Suggests, this is part of the problem. In some parts of the world our successes are looked on with envy, distaste, and even hatred. Our recent conflicts with Radical Islam is one example. Aside from not understanding. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). St George, Utah, United States. View my complete profile.

Brady's Disquisition: grammar post
http://bradysdisquisition.blogspot.com/2009/07/grammar-post_12.html
Sunday, July 12, 2009. I haven't used colons much in my writing. I decided to research them this week so I have another punctuation tool in my writing belt. According to:. Http:/ www.esc.edu/ESConline/Across ESC/WritersComplex.nsf/wholeshortlinks2/Punctuation Points Menu. There are four main ways to use a colon:. 1 To signal a list. 2 A colon signals and emphasizes a comment or explanation that follows. 3 A colon shows that long quotation is coming. 4 After a greeting in a business letter.
