Cooking With Court: Slow Cooker Green Chili Beef Enchilada Casserole

http://cookfoodwithcourt.blogspot.com/2010/12/slow-cooker-green-chili-beef-enchilada.html

There is no love sincerer than the love of food." - George Bernard Shaw. Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Slow Cooker Green Chili Beef Enchilada Casserole. Where has the time gone? I missed the entire month of November! Honestly, I've definitely been in the kitchen, but I've been making past recipes from the blog that we haven't had in a while, hence the minor blog hiatus. But adapted it to fit us a bit more, and fit with what I had in my kitchen at the moment! Slow Cooker Green Chili Beef Enchilada Casserole.

Cooking With Court: August 2010

http://cookfoodwithcourt.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

There is no love sincerer than the love of food." - George Bernard Shaw. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Cheddar Chicken Crunch Salad. Here's another great recipe I got from Kraft's Food and Family. I'd been looking to try at least one new salad before the end of summer and I definitely found one. Now, if you're not a huge fan of broccoli, then you'll probably hate this one, but we LOVE it in our household. So fresh. So good! Cheddar Chicken Crunch Salad. 1/4 cup Miracle Whip Salad Dressing. For those of you, l...

Cooking With Court: Three-Alarm Spaghetti and Pinto Bean Chili

http://cookfoodwithcourt.blogspot.com/2010/12/three-alarm-spaghetti-and-pinto-bean.html

There is no love sincerer than the love of food." - George Bernard Shaw. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Three-Alarm Spaghetti and Pinto Bean Chili. I'm not so sure I'd call it a true "chili" as I felt it was a little less "hearty" in that respect. It's kind of more of a soup, in my opinion. I doubled the recipe so the hubby and I can have leftovers for a few days. I'm looking forward to my lunch hour at work tomorrow, I'm tellin ya. I loved that it had a touch of cinnamon! Now GO WARM UP! 1/2 cup taco sauce.

Cooking With Court: September 2010

http://cookfoodwithcourt.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

There is no love sincerer than the love of food." - George Bernard Shaw. Thursday, September 23, 2010. I was looking for a new slow-cooker/crock pot recipe to try this fall, and I came across this recipe. Which appeared easy, full of flavor, and didn't require me to run right out and spend $40 on all the ingredients. Forgive me, Texans, for not knowing what makes this particular chili "Texas-Style," (please enlighten me if you know! All I know is that it's YUM-TASTIC. 1 can (28 oz.)diced tomatoes. Salt a...

320 Days of Sunshine. A glimpse at our lives. Moving To a New Location. February 3, 2010 in Uncategorized. I am so sorry to do this but I am going to move this blog to a new location. I gave WordPress a shot but overall I was not pleased with it because it was not as flexible as I would have liked it to be. I am a girl of color and this blog was way too blah for my taste and after many hours of researching how to change that, I just gave up! Sorry again for making you move! Simple, But Delicious. CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Thursday, April 8, 2010. Welcome back to the blogging world Pachey! Like I have stated previously, I haven't been cooking or baking much. Tonight, after the wee one went to bed, I decided to remedy that. I actually baked! I had about five pathetic looking bananas and I didn't want them to go to waste. What do you typically do with overripe bananas? This recipe came together quickly, which is a positiv...

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Sunday, April 18, 2010. Words You Don't Hear Together. Three words that aren't typically heard together: Crockpot, buffalo, lasagna. No, really. If you are already repulsed, you are a weinie. Trust me, although you don't hear these things together, they taste so delicious together! Things that I did while making this:. I used Frank's Red Sauce in the buffalo style for the sauce. I bought pre-crumbled ...

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Sunday, April 25, 2010. Don't many people splurge and treat themselves to pizza on the weekends? I am not one to be a conformist so I made our "pizza" dinner. Yes, that happens to be in quotes for a reason. It isn't really fair to say we ate pizza for dinner. We ate a variation of pizza. In soup form. And wouldn't you know it? I loved that my house smelled like pizza all day. My husband even commen...

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Sunday, June 6, 2010. Although I doubt many Cajuns eat a lot of pasta. At any rate, this recipe is called Cajun Chicken Pasta. I found it from the Pioneer Woman's website. I don't even remember what I was looking for on her site, but I stumbled across this. I never say "no" to a good pasta dinner, so I made this. I have never made a recipe from the Pioneer Woman before, but I plan on making more!

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Sunday, July 5, 2009. I hope you aren't disappointed, but this post is not about a dessert pie. Nope, this is a dinner pie. It's called a pie because essentially you are forming a crust in a pie plate using.wait for it.spaghetti. Or in my case, angel hair. I had all the ingredients on hand for this dish except for the ricotta. I would be willing to bet that you will also have many of these ingredi...

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Sunday, March 21, 2010. Baked Potato in a Bowl. As explained in earlier posts (which are out of order by the way), I haven't been cooking a lot lately. I am trying to remedy that as our wee one gets older and is able to occupy himself while Mommy is in the kitchen. Until then, simple recipes are the only ones that are found in my house. Sounds just like something that I would love. I cheated and cut t...

If there is always one thing you can count on, it's me posting a brownie recipe. CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Saturday, November 28, 2009. Is it a Cookie or a Pie? I will let you decide. This recipe is inspired by a trip to the beach that my husband and I took a few months ago. We went to a restaurant for dinner and while dinner was good, dessert was MUCH better. I had honestly forgotten about this pie until Jason mentioned it a few weeks ago. "You know what you should make? This was very good! Preheat oven t...

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Sunday, June 20, 2010. In honor of my wonderful husband on his first Father's Day, I made him a special treat. This is something I would never in a million years make, except he loves it. I do not. Which means that this whole entire pie is his. I wonder how long it will take him to eat the whole thing? Thankfully, I have some whipping cream in the refrigerator from a recipe a couple of weeks ago. ...

Just another WordPress.com site. Smoked Turkey Sausage Stew. June 9, 2013. I made up this own recipe after going through some ingredients and things I had in my kitchen. I’m happy to say it turned out FAB and was super easy to make. We had a great meal 3 hours later, but you could simmer it a lot slower on “low” in the crockpot as well and really let the flavors all come together. Smoked Turkey Sausage Stew. 1 lb smoked sausage (we used turkey) cut into 1/2″ slices. 1 cup sliced carrots (or carrot straws).
