My, My, What do We have Here? February 27, 2009 — mcmolty. First post in a new blog! Kind of like opening up a new book (or an old one for that matter) And taking a big wiff of the pages. Except if I were to take a such a large breath over my desk there would be a lot of crumbs in my nose. And that is not a pleasent experience. So let’s get right doen to it! Anyway, I want to thank all me future and currant readers right now, and hope that you’ll stick with me on this journey. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

February 27, 2009 — mcmolty. After I had baked my first loaf of bread, I started seeing something on all the recipes and directions for baking bread. 8220; Do not be afraid”. Well, I’m not sure if it is because I hadn’t seen that before I started baking or not, but I had never been afraid of bread, yeast or otherwise. I like to think of yeast as a friend, but that’s just me. Anyway, Today I made up my very first bread recipe! And for the debut of Cooking in College. I present to you:. 15 C boiling milk.

Current List | THIS IS A TANGENT.

Random thoughts from an occasionally witty, and often loquacious lady. THIS IS A TANGENT. This is a list in progress. I’ll be updating it periodically until the New Year, or the New Decade technically. The Top 50 Albums of the Decade. I know, ridiculously difficult. But there will be some bias. I mean, come on – it’s me. I think I have it in order. I think. 1 Arcade Fire – “Funeral” (2004). 2 Radiohead – “Kid A” (2000). 3 The White Stripes – “Elephant” (2003). 5 MIA – “Kala” (2007). 22 Modest Mouse ̵...

https://abbigshmail.wordpress.com/2010/12/09/top-music-of-2010
Random thoughts from an occasionally witty, and often loquacious lady. THIS IS A TANGENT. TOP MUSIC OF 2010. I think I’ve got it figured out. It took me a long time to put these in the correct order, because I kept switching them around. I originally wanted to just make this a “top albums” post, but because I went to so many damn shows this year, I realized that I should add that in as well. Top Albums of 2010. 20 Beach House – Teen Dream. 19 Sleigh Bells – Treats. 18 Broken Bells – Broken Bells. 3 Spoon...

Random thoughts from an occasionally witty, and often loquacious lady. THIS IS A TANGENT. This is just fucking ridiculous. So I’m here, but what am I going to write about? I don’t even know now. I mean, I came all the way here with nothing to say? What the heck, Abby? Should I put some inspiring music on? Shit, all the music I’ve been listening to lately is inspiring in some way or another – whether it be some of my favourite musicians from years past, or musicians that I now call my friends. Joe’s Maryland Style Crab Dip →. Creamy Macaroni and Cheese. The name macaroni and cheese does not do this recipe justice. I am going to go out on a limb and say that it is the absolute best macaroni and cheese recipe I have ever had. It is unbelievably creamy, freezes well, tastes amazing as leftovers and doesn’t cost nearly as much as my previous attempt at macaroni and cheese. I implore you – MAKE THIS. Freeze lots. EAT LOTS! Classic Macaroni and Cheese. By Cook’s Country. 1 pound elbow macaroni.

Saturday, January 1, 2011. My mother used to make me eat black eyed peas on New Years Day. One for each year I'd lived plus one for good luck in the coming year. I hated black eyed peas as a kid, but now I know that the secret ingredient, as with so many foods, is bacon. 1 medium yellow onion. 2-4 slices of the thickest cut bacon you can find. 1/2 cup white wine. Salt, black pepper, red pepper to taste. 1/2 to 1 lb dry, presoaked, or canned black eyed peas. Sunday, August 22, 2010. I got distracted. ...

Oh, the garland, the lights, and handmade salt dough ornaments from years gone by. How I wish I could tell you this is how our tree looks this year. I could tell you that. But, it wouldn't be true. This year, it's a different story. Can your see the gray and white blob jut under my husbands arm? Yeah, that's a 13 pound kitten in our tree! I wanted the hooks or o...

Cooking at Clark Towers. Home cook experiments with recipes and teaches others how to cook. March 18, 2018. March 17, 2018. I briefly looked into why this is called Texas sheet cake but there was no evidence to where or when this originally got it’s name that I could find. I did share this recipe a few years ago but I thought it needed to make another appearance. I strongly suggest you make this cake at least once in your life, though if you do, you will be making it again! Preheat oven to 400’F. Cup Cho...
