I’m writing from Kisumu, Kenya right now. I don’t have much time here at the Internet cafe, but I wanted to share a couple of first impressions that surprised me. I will try to upload pictures later when I get a chance. 2 Kenya feels a bit like India. The streets, especially in poorer areas, are extremely crowded, and dirty. Besides soccer, the two most common games are pool and drafti (checkers). I have seen other games, all homemade, but these are the ones that appear most often.
