Monday, September 17, 2012. Cedar City Half Marathon! That's what I said.the Cedar City Half Marathon! I ran 13.1 miles! I still can't believe it when I think about it! I decided to start running because I wanted to do something extra to get rid of some extra.ahem. Then a friend talked me into running this half marathon because she said it was mostly all downhill, so I thought, "hey, if it's downhill, why not? So the training began! It was so hard! Well 3 months later.the race was here! There were people...

Willardsen World: August 2011
http://willardsenfam.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Actually, I have a million reasons to blog, but somehow, I can't figure out how to find the time. Someday.maybe soon. For now, I must record this funny little conversation we had tonight. It is a simple testament that my kids understand everything I say. Gabby: Mom, John (name changed for privacy) doesn't have two wives, right? Gabby: John.John Smith (our old bishop). Me: No. Why? Gabby: Joshua said you told him he does. Joshua: You did, mom. You said he has two wives.

Willardsen World: June 2010
http://willardsenfam.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 30, 2010. I had the opportunity to run the Ragnar this year with a few of my friends. I was invited by an old friend from our West Jordan days to recruit a few people for a team. Paula and Dave joined our crew. We were officially known as team "Fun on the Run." Our shirt was designed by Paula, which makes it much cooler. Way to accurately portrait my leg! Pre-run we still looked fresh and ready.Jene' (runner 9) was our team captain, and an awesome one at that. My first run was also uphill...

Willardsen World: October 2010
http://willardsenfam.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Randy spent the first three weeks of October traveling for work. He was able to stop off at home on the weekends to say hello and attend school. He is currently getting his MBA, attending school on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. It has been much less intrusive on the family life than going throughout the week, but I am sure Randy is feeling it all the same. The first two weeks he spent in San Fransisco. Monday, October 25, 2010. We had a few fami...

Willardsen World: November 2010
http://willardsenfam.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 27, 2010. Nerdy Enough to be Smart. We hit the Discovery Kids Museum and enjoyed a science class and activity taught by one of their experts. It included the explanation of the earth's layers and hands one sand layering. The participants were required to wear protective eye wear to guard against potential hazards. Joshua with his scientist hair. Parker's ready to get started (dictation from Parker's own mouth). Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? The kids had th...

Coop Fam 4: August 2011
http://coopfam4.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 20, 2011. My Kids Are FUNNY! T has been asking for months now to come with me to Zumba. So this morning I took her! She did her best to follow the instructor; she even took a drink whenever the instructor did! She's decided that she's coming with me every Saturday morning (since its during the day AND there aren't very many people there in the mornings). Sawyer is just being so darn funny these days! Willardsen World: Tradition Adjustment
http://willardsenfam.blogspot.com/2010/12/tradition-taken-away.html
Tuesday, December 28, 2010. The Willardsen's have developed a family tradition of sledding behind a car on the old farm roads of Ephraim on Christmas day. Mother nature didn't cooperate this year. We had snow and then lots of rain. Our kids asked if we could sled on the mud roads. We decided against it. Grandma and the kids refused to allow our tradition to be lost all together this year so we tried it city style.sledding down the pile of snow (ice) made by the city snow plows. Coop Fam 4: We've Really Tried!
http://coopfam4.blogspot.com/2012/12/weve-really-tried.html
Saturday, December 22, 2012. So since September we've had a lot of things happen. Halloween was fun. Teigan was Little Red Riding Hood and Sawyer was the Big Bad Wolf. I loved that they matched this year! It was such a blast! Sawyer turned 3 on November 19th! Thanksgiving was in Salt Lake, as is tradition for us. We had a blast as always. Thanksgiving Day was the usual marathon of eating, playing, eating some more, and playing, etc. Being able to spend some time with family was the best part&...Steve too...
