Fun in the sun! Festival Family Fun Day, 6 May 2013. Fabulous sunshine greeted visitors to the Festival Family Fun day, organised by Lakelands Day care Hospice at East Carlton Country Park. Approximately 400 people came along to the free event, which was blessed with fantastic weather throughout the afternoon. There was plenty to keep both old and young entertained including bouncy castles, hook a duck, archery, dancing displays and even trying your skill on the crazy cycles!

Who can enter the Festival walks? Absolutely anyone and everyone - there are walks in the programme for all ages and ability levels. Read the description of the walks, decide which you think are right for you and come along. Do I need any special equipment to take part? What is the cost of a walk? There is no cost for taking part in a walk; Lakelands Hospice will be collecting voluntary donations after every walk, but there is no charge. How many walks can I participate in? Can I bring a dog?
