http://barnyardphilosophy.blogspot.com/2014/07/contests.html
Ruminations on life, humans, animals, farming and the silliness of it all. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. I'd like to be that good at what I do- and get the recognition. And I could really use the money right now. So I guess this post is to my muse. I'll keep feeding you and trusting you. I'll keep showing up and keep my fingers flying. I think it'll be okay. Ruminations on life, humans, animals, farming and the silliness of it all. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Sometimes it all seems pointless. Writing this blog; putting my name out there; working my horses; getting up in the morning. And yet, here I am again- starting over. There's a tenacity to living. I can't get away from it. And so, here I am again. Hello me, did you miss me? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'll be starting a serial story in the next month or so. Until then, enjoy! CORE Equestrian and Life Coaching.

Barnyard Philosophy: January 2010
http://barnyardphilosophy.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Ruminations on life, humans, animals, farming and the silliness of it all. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Letter to a frustrated artist. You recently asked me why it is that you should do what you love if it didn’t pay the bills. Logic is very important. So follow my logic here if you will. You want to make money from your creativity. Thus you wish to be paid for doing the work that you love ( your work. To be paid for one's work is to be employed. Are you a good employee? Do you show up for your work.

Ruminations on life, humans, animals, farming and the silliness of it all. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Mother, May I? 8220;Ask nicely.”. 8220;Can I have a cookie? 8220;Please…”. Sigh, “May I please have a cookie? 8220;Not now, you are about to have dinner.”. Did you think you didn’t get the cookie because you didn’t want it enough? That you, in some deep part of your soul, either didn’t have enough belief in the cookie? What kind of sacrifices does a kid gotta make to get a damn cookie! This is a big tree.

Ruminations on life, humans, animals, farming and the silliness of it all. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Where have all the bugs gone? Not that I mind the lack of swishing tails and stomping feet or the drone and bite of them. Maybe they have disappeared to remind us of how important the invisible, little things are- the kiss at bedtime, proper grammar, spice, letting someone go ahead of you, a smile. Have a care where you tread. A life lives on life. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I work with farmers, artists, ...

Barnyard Philosophy: The Man From Housatonic, Mass
http://barnyardphilosophy.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-man-from-housatonic-mass.html
Ruminations on life, humans, animals, farming and the silliness of it all. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. The Man From Housatonic, Mass. Is a collection of favorites from his column with a few newbies thrown in. More than a memoir, it’s a book about a town, a time and change. But it is Bob’s friends who provide the joy in this book. Their adventures would have made Tom Sawyer jealous and Huck Finn proud. In the story, Crucifixion on Pine Street. My favorite story, How Sweet It Was. Tells of Montana’s can...
