The Seemingly Random But Not Really. To the girl friends in my life. March 4, 2012. We rocked the stairs today. Now I don’t have many male friends where another wife or girlfriend (or my husband) is involved. I kinda miss that guy perspective, but then I think, I have Alec and he seems pretty centered and open in sharing it. I have plenty girl friends, each with their own strengths and personalities. Thank you to my girl friends. Thank you for reminding me of who I am and who I aspire to be.

I read about Stonehenge, I never really thought I’d actually see these pile of rock in real life, but here I was, staring up into them and thinking, man is it every windy here. How did the rocks get here in the first place? Do people really think aliens have supplanted the rocks to this location? After our little trek to Stonehenge, (Thank you to Thomas and Tom for suggesting Stonehenge and driving us out here! On our way to Stonehenge. Yes, we are here.

The Seemingly Random But Not Really. March 23, 2013. I deal with disappoint a particular way every time. Second, depending on the situation, I blame myself and think of all the reason why the ‘failure’ occurred. Thankfully through self awareness, this part doesn’t last long at all. I can usually keep my wits about me long and loud enough to tell myself to shut it and blaming myself does nothing other than perpetuate a downward spiral. But there is definitely a sense of loss.
