Cork Harbour Angling Hub. Centre of Angling Excellence. Thursday, October 11, 2012. Small boat anglers had some fishing in the last week! Specimen congers are few and far between but to hear of two caught out of Cork Harbour within days of each other is almost unheard of. Well that was just the case for well known local anglers, Maurice Cott and Tony Tait. Maurice was the first into a leviathan eel with a fish of 49lbs. What a fish; well done Maurice! And from Shamrock Tackle. Testing the rig and it didn't disappoint. Pat had this fabulous red gurnard, just short of specimen, during the course of the day. Well done Pat! Al even geleden dat ik nog iets gepost heb , maar er viel ook niet veel te vertellen qua vangsten. Nu vorig seizoen was al een pak minder en dit seizoen tot nu toe feitelijk nog minder . vooral als je met de pluggen vanaf de kant een poging doet . Af en toe kon ik wel een baars of 3 per sessie aan de kant krijgen , doch is het echt mager . Zekers geen grote vissen . ik denk de grootste tot nu toe van om en bij de 50 cm . Ik heb me daar reuze geamuseerd en intens genoten van de ohzo prachtige Coppercoast ...

Napoli , Italia. Nu we een tweetal dagen terug zijn van ons weekje vakantie wordt het tijd om de ervaring op te schrijven . Na een 20 tal minuten rijden werd er een stop ingelast om een koffie te nutten . en wat voor één! Het werd een ongelooflijke taaie week . we konden niets vangen!
