Is een beurtschip gebouwd in 1912 in Den Haag in opdracht van de Gebr. Vreeswijk te Montfoort van het type Luxe motor / Beurtmotor. Een beurtschip verzorgde expeditiediensten langs min of meer vaste route's. Het schip is een vroege Luxe Motor. Een Luxe Motor was het eerste type vrachtschip geheel gebouwd voor voortbeweging met een. De eerste Luxe Motors zijn van omstreeks 1908. Met aanvoer van meel voor de Utrechtse meelfabriek "de Korenschoof" . E huidige motor van de IJSSELSTROOM. Is een Gardner 5LW.

E eerste motor van de. Was een 24 pk 1 cilinder van RENNES. Petroleummotor met een liggende cilinder. Et schip was sinds 1955 voorzien van zijn 2de motor, een KROMHOUT 2K3. 2 cilinder 2-takt dieselmotor uit 1952. Deze gaf 40pk aan de schroef bij 500 omw/min. De rechtsdraaiende motor was voorzien van een mechanische koppeling en startte met druklucht. In 2006 sloeg de motor op hol, drijfstangbouten braken, 1 cilinder scheurde, het carter. Barste open en dat was dan het einde van 50 jaar trouwe dienst.
