Okere Falls Visit, New Zealand - Whilst on route to Taupo from Rotorua, we by chance stopped by these amazing waterfalls and river known as Okere Falls. A short 20 minute walk around the falls told the story of the site where New Zealand’s first hydro electric power station was built! I could see why, the sheer power of the water cascading down the falls would have created an incredible amount of power for the surrounding downs. Rather them than me that’s for sure! I couldn’t help but stumble across this stall which as you can imagine definitely caught my eye! Who would have thought, traveling to the other side of the world a Cornishman would stumble across a pasty!
