We’ll jump on a bus this afternoon to tour the community and the region, and finish our learning day with the Community Potluck tonight at the Public Grade School gym. The Rural Learning Center will hold its first public community meeting in Corsica on Monday, November 6 at 5:30 pm. The meeting, to be held in the Corsica Elementary school gym, will include a free soup and sandwich meal. The RLC. Will be reporting on its observations, interviews, and work thus far in the Corsica area.

Nine senior students from Corsica High School, accompanied by their English teacher Mrs. Eide, took a field trip last Wednesday to visit a few members of the design:SD team at work. The student have been working with the RLC and members of the design:SD team to prepare for the charrette on May 16-19. The Rural Learning Center team (Jim Beddow, Lindsey Karlson and Joe Bartmann) will be visiting with more than 40 members of the Corsica community August 29 and 30.
