International Space Station Sightings. Southern Spain this week. Use the chart below to find the best times and direction. For the best sightings go for the lowest Mag or magnitude number (-1.4, -1.6, -2.0 etc) the lower the number the brighter it will be, Also go for the highest Maximum Alt figure (Altitude) 90 is directly overhead, 45 is half way up the sky, anything above 25 is good. The International Space Station photographed in February 2014 is now the largest structure ever to be built in space.
