Game A few of the teachers actually were playing and most students showed up to the game to support us. It touched me sincerely to feel that I had my entire school behind me, to know that the Costa Rica class just wasn't doing it by oursel...

I hold an adamant belief that travel can be an invaluable, life-altering experience. Families that have the means to travel often see it as a luxury, and take for granted the incredible learning that they and their children gain. I work in an alternative high school – most of my students are from families that do not have anywhere near those kinds of means. The book, Walking With Wolf. Tells this story in a remarkable way. Lister Academy Costa Rica Class - Brittney. Friday, January 7, 2011. We learned about the ways that they built industry and an economy in Monteverde. A thing that they had built that relates to its industry and economy is the dairy farm. There were three reasons why they decided to create a dairy farm. They were because they needed a way to make money on their new land, it was a good use of farmland, and also because Wolf grew up on a dairy farm. Thursday, January 6, 2011. Some plans for our trip!
