I wanted to try a more girly, vintage{y} look for the blog. I've also added a contact and about me page above. I'll be adding more pages as I have time. I also have tons of vintage magazines and knitting/crocheting patterns to scan for all of you. So look out for those in the coming weeks and months. Also, on my other blog, Bramblewood Fashion.

Sew Pleasing: Narnia costumes 2009 - Susan
http://sewpleasing.blogspot.com/2012/09/narnia-costumes-2009-susan.html
Friday, September 7, 2012. Narnia costumes 2009 - Susan. Almost a year ago my oldest daughter Valerie watched Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and begged me to make one of Queen Susan's dresses for her. This project was exactly the sort I like, so I readily agreed and talked my other children into being Prince Caspian characters for Halloween. Halloween is now past and I'm finally ready to tell of the experience. I will start with Valerie's costume, since I have pictures and it's been done since July.

The Art of Clothes: May 2015
http://theartofclothes.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2015. I've found a new obsession with beaded knitting. As if knitting wasn't magic enough, add some sparkly beads in and *swish and flick*! But what I can show you.I am working on a shawl from The Unofficial Harry Potter Knits. It is so pretty! I'm loving it. I'm using mint pearl beads for the beaded parts. It's really fun! There are so many patterns in this magazine I can't wait to make! I already have yarn for Ginny's Cardigan. And Hermione's Time-Turner Mitts. Links to this post.

Friday, September 28, 2012. I have decided to part with some of my costume fabric stash. I just don't have the time I used to have to invest in some of these costumes and I would rather have a few to work on I really love and be able to finish them and start fresh with new fabric if I felt like it and not feel guilty about my big box of fabric I haven't used up! Here are a few I am parting with, I wanted to give you all first pick! Maid Marian Dress Fabric. Elizabeth Bennet Pelisse Fabric. My husband and...
