Bates Observation Room (named for a former Creamery Manager) is located adjacent to Ferdinand’s Ice Cream Shoppe in the Food Quality Building. Overlooking the production area of the creamery, visitors can watch cheese and ice cream being made. With advanced notice, the Creamery provides instructed field trips.
