Adventures in life, family, and business. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Who will walk first? Sick in the middle of summer? Just a quick update this week. It's been a whirlwind. Was out of town on business travel in Tempe, AZ Mon-Wed (actually made the 100 degree temps in Portland feel quite nice upon returning). This was the first time that Erin had the boys solo for multiple days. Everybody survived, and I think had a pretty uneventful couple of days. When I got back home, things got more interesting:. Adventures in life, family, and business. Sunday, February 15, 2009. 3 weeks down, 18 to go. Well, today marks the end of week 3 of my preparation for Ironman Coeur d' Alene. So far, so good. Nothing outrageous yet, just training every day. Typical week:. Monday: Easy, recovery day. Swim, lift weights. Tuesday: Bike session on the trainer followed by 30-40 minute run. Wednesday: Swim AM, lift weights. PM run 40 minutes or so. Thursday: Bike session on the trainer. PM run 30-40 minutes.

Our first shopping trip riding in the cart! Explored every aisle at Costco - they loved it. I look forward to date night on Saturday. Hopefully Ian will be well enough that we can get out.
