Welcome to Country Cordwood. There's a lot to keep you busy during your stay, here. Some of it is seasonal, but we've included a few links below of some of our favorite local activities. Just about all of these are less than an hour away, many much closer. There are two private bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a full size (double). There are two fold out couches and another full size matress and springs in the upstairs common area. There is a child's bed in one of the private bedrooms. There is no landline telephone, but most national cell phone carriers have service here. There are no minimum stays required, with the exception of the two NASCAR race weeks, one in March and the other in August. For race week we require a minimum of four nights rental. Normal rental rates apply for those weeks. The cabin rents for $85.00 per night, plus tax. The weekly rental rate is $425.00 plus tax. For stays of 3 nights, or longer, a 50% deposit is due in advance. For stays of less than 3 nights, we ask for full payment in advance.

Country Cordwood was inspired by a feature in the old Mother Earth News magazine, sometime in the late 1970's.
