Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Heading out for the hospital - Wednesday June 1st at 6pm. Welcome to the world Penn - 6/2/11 5:03pm - 7 lbs 6 oz and 20 inches long. Grandma Lynn happy to finally meet her grandson after 10 days of waiting in San Diego. Heavy and Penn's first meeting! First nap, an hour after being born. He can already hold his head up. Future best friends meeting for the first time. Penn's first night at home. Thank you Auntie Inger for my new outfit! ONE WEEK OLD TODAY. Wednesday, June 1, 2011.

Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Trip to San Diego. Ashley and I took a much-needed vacation to San Diego last weekend. It was so much fun. Our flight left at 6:30am so we had to get to the airport early, but it was just in time to see a beautiful sunrise. After landing, we picked up or rental car and drove to the San Diego Zoo. Some would say that the San Diego Zoo is the "Zoo of all Zoos", and it definitely didn't disappoint. We ended up spending about five hours there. Here are some photos. It was so cool to see!

Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Ashley then took Jake through Denver's City Park, which offers some great views of downtown. When I got home from class we loaded up the car and headed downtown to go see the Rockies play the Phillies. Jake walks towards Coors Field. View from our seats.
