Is a community organisation which arranges community events and maintains and runs our local Village Hall for the benefit of everyone living in and around the village. New website for Smiddy and Hub, Doors Open Day. Cousland Smiddy and Heritage Hub will be open from 10.00am - 4.30pm on Saturday 12th September for Midlothian Doors Open Day. Blacksmith Sean Cockburn will be at the forge throughout the day demonstrating his craft, while the Hub will be open displaying the archive collections of the Smiddy Trust and Local History Project which will be permanently house here. Refreshments and soup will be available, along with local produce and items to buy.
