Wednesday, 12 August 2009. Tuesday 4th August - 3mile. LOVE running in the rain, keeps you nice and cool. Had a bad day today and the run worked its magic by getting rid of all my frustrations! Was planning giving the distance a go on Friday but I’ve quite a busy day on Friday so I decided to attempt it after work this evening. Archive for July, 2010. Laquo; Older Entries. More pain… Shins this time. Wednesday, July 28th, 2010. I’m very frustrated at the moment. After my successful 5 miles on Thursday I thought I’d take a couple of days off (which I did) – had a few drinks on Saturday so didn’t feel up to it on Sunday either and besides my shins and thigh felt a bit tender to touch still. I guess my legs didn’t like the sudden leap to 5 miles which is a shame as they seemed to be enjoying it at the time. Time: 50 mins 6 secs.

Archive for October, 2010. Quickest 3.5 miles and a look at past 3.5ers! Tuesday, October 12th, 2010. It’s getting dark really early now so I had to cut my run short by half a mile as I hit a bit of traffic on the way home from work. I ran my fastest 4 miles last night and I ran my fastest 3.5 miles this evening in 30:34 which I’m obviously happy about – I think the 4 days without running has helped my legs come back stronger.
