These children are identified on garbage dump sites and in the streets. Their parents are located, and the whole project discussed with the parents and the child. Once agreed upon, the child starts attending the Child Protection and Rehabilitation Trust (CPRT) centre every day for two to three hours. Our main expenses include monthly salary for the teachers and supervisors, hygiene packs and uniforms for the children, daily snacks for the children and 4 yearly trips to the museums, picnics and outdoor activities. Islamic Society of Statistical Sciences have paid the first instalment of expenses on our behalf, while we wait to get registered by the Charity Commission, UK.
