Kelly C's Scraps: February 2013
http://kellycscraps.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 27 February 2013. Here is a new post of a page I recently complete. I ran my first 5km race in the summer of 2011. It was a really great experience to complete the Learn to Run Program that I was taking through the Running Room. So, without further ado. I think the layout really represents how that day went. It was exhausting but completing this layout has shown me how much I have changed physically since then which is very motivating. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Monday, 16 July 2012. MLIA- Part 5: Gull Bay Pow Wow- June 16, 2012. Here is another late post. A month ago, I went to a Pow wow in Gull Bay. It was my first real experience into Native culture up here. The first thing that we did was go over to Jessica's mother's house. Jessica and her children were all dancing in the pow wow and since Armstrong and Gull Bay are about 45 minutes apart, we went over to her mother's house first so that she could get the girl's hair done and her makeup done. Once everyone ...

Artsy Lynn: December 2013
http://artsylynn.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 27, 2013. I have taken a number of vacations in the past, and each time I planned to create some sort of travel album.and have never done so :( I have scrapped individual pages, but I have never created a memento album like I have seen so many examples of from other people. So, for the trip to Walt Disney World we have coming up, I am determined to make this trip the first one that I actually create an album for! I started with this base binder:. Notes about this binder. Saturday, Decemb...

Wednesday, October 1, 2014. October Mixed Media Monthly Challenge. A new month means a new challenge! This month, it's all about ribbons. Take a look:. I used a 6x6 wood block, and it's hard to tell from the photo, but I layered a bunch of ribbons and lace vertically on the block. Then I cut out a heart from cardboard, so the ribbons showed through. I used ink and paint around the heart, and then lots of stencils and other stuff to create texture outside of the heart. Hope you like it! I also love cats.

To Stamp or Not To Stamp... what a silly question!: June 2011
http://diburns.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
To Stamp or Not To Stamp. what a silly question! Wednesday, June 1, 2011. I had no idea where I was going with this card, but wanted to use these cute Cuttlebug Butterflies that a friend let me borrow. It comes with a die to cut the butterfly and 4 different embossing folders. I used a beige colored vellum and I love the way the embossing looks on the vellum. I played along this week with CR84FN's color challenge. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am an independent Stampin' Up! View my complete profile.

To Stamp or Not To Stamp... what a silly question!: March 2011
http://diburns.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
To Stamp or Not To Stamp. what a silly question! Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? A coworker requested a card for her niece who is turning 2 tomorrow and she loves Spongebob. I CASED this card from Stampin' Connection for demonstrators. My husband recognized who it was supposed to be so hopefully my coworker will like it. Now off to find something to take to work for a silent auction for the March of Dimes. Surely I have something here I am not using that would work.
