Irony" was meant to be a cute way to refer to the unexpected ways consuming vast quantities of iron has helped me. I think it is beginning to help my hemoglobin, though it had barely improved at yesterday's CBC. Red and white cells were up though, so I reckon the hemoglobin will follow along. Thoughts along the way. July 20th, 2010. Was hoping for a better CBC today, but no. Only improved count was platelets. This was good. As far as it went- I'm no longer covered with huge purple bruises, but the other counts didn't just stay flat- they went the wrong direction. It would not kill me to just recover on my own for a few more weeks, but it would. Make me miserable and unable to work- and I need to work. I've been having paranoid worries about having- oh, I don't know- a brain tumor or something- because of all the dizziness and related stuff. That was the first time I passed out, but I've wobbled quite a few times, and seen spots before my eyes. And I keep bursting into tears for no reason. Thoughts along the way. June 17th, 2010. It made me laugh out loud, and that despite feeling pretty darn miserable. She was standing by to see how I enjoyed it, with the closest thing to a proud smile a cat can manage. Dead critters. She does, so why don't I?
